Thank you for taking the time to look through my blog. Graphic Design is a passion of mine because it allows me to incorporate my drawing skills, photography skills and Photoshop skills together. It involves problem solving and working to a brief as we are tied to our client’s wants and needs which I thrive in solving. I have done my blog in a sketchbook style to represent the style of my physical sketchbooks and to give you a brief idea of my full portfolio. I wanted the explanations to be clear and to be obvious as to what pictures or illustration it went with, rather than putting all the pictures and a full explanation beneath. All of the photos can be enlarged when clicked on so you can read the writing and captions. I am inspired every day by different aspects of Graphic Design. Experimenting is a big part of how I work, I enjoy discovering new ways to create an outcome and I am not tied to a computer. I am interested in your course, because of the high standard of work that your students produce. I was excited to hear of some of the contacts that you have as an establishment and it would be such an honour to have even a chance of working with them on a live brief. I am dedicated to Graphic Design, and having the opportunity to go to your University will further provide me with knowledge and skills that are necessary for working within the industry. I will be surrounded by people who are also interested in Graphics and I look forward to sharing and feeding off new ideas.
